Pumpkins, Football, and Halloween

This weekend Jayden and I decided to carve pumpkins, since we haven't had the chance to really get into the Halloween holiday this year. Jayden decided to carve in his pumpkin, our little guy from a pic of an ultrasound ( so sweet) and I decided on an owl. Jayden is a lot more detail oriented than I am haha. Saturday we used our MUSS tickets and went to the Utah-Oregon State game. It was the blackout game and it was fun to finally get a win at home. For Halloween this year, I saw a maternity shirt from pinterest (if you have pinterest, you have probably seen it before). Jayden and I decided to add to it, but making our baby a future UTE for the game. It turned out really cute (see pictures below). We entered it into our apartment complex's costume contest, and the office loved it, so we have our fingers crossed!

Fall Maternity Clothes

Now that the fall weather is finally here, I can start wearing warmer clothes. I have been so hot for the last few months, that the cool weather feels amazing. Fall maternity clothes are way better to dress my growing bump in. I feel that fall maternity clothes are a lot more flattering and you can be more stylish. I am particularly liking my outfit that I have on today. I bought this fall coat on sale at the beginning of my pregnancy, I am so happy I finally get to wear it!

31 1/2 weeks

Today I am 31 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Less than 60 days left! This week our little guy has learned a new trick, and no it is not a good one! He thinks its funny to press down on my bladder and punch it as hard as he can, resulting in me having to pee every 15 minutes. I love feeling our little guy move all day long. He is getting so big that I can feel him 24/7 now. This week he has been hiding up in my ribcage, which is very uncomfortable. I can't wait until we can meet our baby boy. We have finished our prenatal classes and we got to take a tour of the Labor and Delivery unit this last week. It made it seem like the time is getting really close! Our baby boy will be full term in less than 6 weeks, so crazy! I hope he comes at about week 39, which would be the week in between finals and Christmas. Once we are finished with finals and on Christmas Break, hopefully we can get labor started! I am actually really excited for the labor and delivery part, that might sound crazy, but I can't wait. My next doctors appointment is a week from today, then I start going every two weeks! I have all of my appointments scheduled from here until delivery, so that is exciting. I can't believe how big my belly is getting, and am wondering how much bigger I am going to get... Here is my almost 32 week belly.

A Mixed Media Series

Tomorrow I have a critique for my Advanced Photography Class. We have been working on a series for the first half of the semester. My project is a series of mixed media images. Let me know what you think! They have a lot of detail and look a lot better if you click on them and enlarge them, fyi.

PS: Does anyone still read our blog? I feel like I haven't had many people reading lately

Nightime Images

How gorgeous are these images of the different continents at night? I have felt very wanderlust-y lately and want to travel! Unfortunately, I don't think I will be traveling anywhere soon, due to my very large belly. But I can dream....

Everyday

Everyday I wonder what our baby boy will look like. I am getting so excited to meet him and see what his cute little features are like. I can't wait for the moment when we see him for the first time! Today I was looking at baby pictures of Jayden and I, trying to picture what our little guy will look like.

Sundance

Since this week was our fall break, Jayden and I decided to spend a night up at Sundance Resort. It was nice to get away for a little break to ourselves before our little guy gets here. We headed up to Sundance on Wednesday afternoon. We ate dinner on our way up, checked into to our cabin, and settled in. Sundance does a ski lift ride at night when there is a full moon. We were there on the perfect day to take advantage of this opportunity. We got all bundled up and then headed to the ski lift. We didn't know how popular the ski lift ride was, so we stood in line for about an hour before getting on the ski lift, but it was definitely worth it! They turn off all of the lights, as you take the ski lift up the mountain, it was very romantic! We then enjoyed the evening by the fire and just relaxing in the cabin that we rented. The next day, we wandered around Sundance, and then ate lunch at the Foundry Grill. After we left Sundance, we drove around the Alpine Loop and enjoyed seeing the beautiful fall colors. It was a great little get away!

Here are some pictures from our mini-vacation
