Boy or Girl?
Sorry if you are sick of hearing about this, but I don't care. We are SO SO SO excited to find out tomorrow if we are having a boy or girl. The next 24 hours are going to go by really slow. This whole pregnancy I have thought that our baby is a girl. I have had dreams and just a gut feeling. The last couple of nights, I have been having boy dreams! So now I really don't know as our appointment gets closer.
What do you think our baby will be...boy or girl?
I think everyone knows that I want a girl, but I could see it being a boy just to prove me wrong :) I will really be happy with either.

Year Gone By
This last weekend, Jayden and I celebrated our first anniversary. I cannot believe it has been a whole year. Time has flown by. This last year has been the best of my life, I never imagined that I could be this happy. I am so grateful for a loving husband and best friend who I get to share eternity with. I know this is just the first out of many wonderful years we will have together.
I have felt the baby moving around quite a bit. I am so excited to be able to feel kicks soon ( I think I felt a jab yesterday)
Our anniversary included:
painting a lovely anniversary vase at Color Me Mine
Dinner at Tucanos
Love Letters
Roses
Martinellis & Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
and enjoying just being with each other
I wish I took more pictures
Oh and here is a belly picture at 18 weeks

Just Some Thoughts
I don't really have a certain title or direction of this post, just some ramblings. First, we are really excited because we just found out that we get to find out the sex of our baby next week! The last ultrasound I had was around 6 weeks ago, so I am really excited to see the progress of the baby and to be able to distinguish its gender.
What do you think girl or boy?
I know I am a little late jumping on the bandwagon, but I just discovered pinterest...and I am addicted. If you have one, you should follow me. I wish I would have had it when planning our wedding last year, it would have been really helpful.
Today I saw a really good movie with my Mom and our friend Diane. The movie is called "A Better Life" We go quite frequently to the Broadway theater here in SLC, to see independent movies. This movie definitely made up for the movie we saw last week. ( The Tree of Life...it was TERRIBLE!)
Jayden got a new phone today
My new job is going really well and I am very lucky to have found it
We have a crib and a dresser/changing table now. It is fun to start getting baby things. Thanks to my mom and dad, for an early baby present.
Other than that, I can't think of anything too exciting. This week is kind of boring so far. I am looking forward to this upcoming weekend because Jayden and I will be celebrating our year anniversary! YAY!
Oh and I want to share these pictures from fourth of July even though they are a little late. I had fun working on my pictures from our vacation that I took so enjoy.
Oh one more thing, to those of you who read my blog...follow it! I would love to have more followers and I know that you are out there.

Just Because
This is me at almost 17 weeks. Did anyone else look this big so early on?! I swear they missed a baby on the ultrasound haha. Over the last 2 weeks, I have started to feel little flutters, they aren't anything big, but I definitely can tell that there is something moving around in there! The thing that weirds me out is how much my belly fluctuates. During the morning it is really small, and by night I look like I am six months pregnant! It's so crazy!

I forgot to post some of our Washington pictures, just for my own sake of keeping track of everything. So this post is mostly for me :)

Made My Day
We have a balcony that connects to our apartment. When we first moved in we notice that there was a birds nest out on our balcony. We have seen the momma bird come and go, but I never saw the babies. Today as I was working on my computer, the two baby birds were waiting for their mom to bring them back food. It made my day to be able to sit here and see the momma bird fly back and forth to bring food, it is the cutest thing! I know that it is probably not a big deal to anyone else, but I couldn't resist showing these pictures!

16 weeks
Today I am 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant! It is amazing how much my belly has popped over the last two weeks. I feel like I am already huge! I am feeling pretty good, I can now stay up a lot later and am not nearly as tired. I am having a harder time sleeping at night, due to my growing belly, I can't even imagine how it will be in a couple months. The other day when Jayden and I were walking through the Seattle airport, a stranger asked me if I was expecting. Its pretty gutsy of people to actually ask that, but it made me happy that I look like I have a baby bump and not just getting chubby. We had our 16 week doctors appointment on Friday. It wasn't too exciting. Our doctor could only see us for a couple minutes because she got paged to a delivery. We got to hear the heartbeat though, which is always nice to check up on how our little one is doing :) We also scheduled our 20 week ultrasound to find out if it is a boy or girl! Everything thinks it is a girl, so we will see. I think the hardest thing about being pregnant so far is learning to accept my pregnant body. I have always been a little self conscious about my weight and the last couple of years I have really slimmed down and felt really good about myself. It is hard watching my body change, but I am learning how to embrace it!

We had a blast on our trip to Washington. We went with my family and stayed with my grandparents who live in Sequim. We spent a lof of time relaxing and just enjoying being there. The first day we flew into Seattle we spent the day in the city. Jayden had never been to Washington before, so we went to the space needle, went on a tour of the city, and also went to the Boeing plant where they make all of the airplanes. Some highlights of the trip were visiting the ocean, fourth of July, and eating seafood! We went on a day trip to a beautiful town called La Push right on the Ocean. We stayed in a cabin right on the beach and were there for fourth of July. La Push is on an Indian reservation, so there are no laws about fireworks. Everyone was lighting their fireworks off on the beach. The fireworks lasted for hours! It was the best fourth of July and fireworks show we have ever seen.
