Happy Almost Love Month!

I'm really excited for February! Is it just me or does it seem like January is such a drag? After Christmas I always seem to be in a funk. February is full of fun for Valentine's Day and I love it! I took a few photos of the kids yesterday for Valentine's Day coming up.

What are your favorite things about February? Do any of you have any Valentine's Day tradition or fun ideas to do with kids? I'd love to hear!

It seems like every photo I take of Lily she has a messy face! I wipe it constantly, but it;s just the age she is at! haha. 

Christmas Day

On Christmas day, we woke up around 8 am and saw what Santa brought. It was fun to watch Gavin and Lily and their reactions. My family flew in from Utah on Christmas morning. Around 10 am Jayden left to pick them up from the airport. After they were back, we ate breakfast. After breakfast we opened presents. Then my family went to shower and take naps while we face timed with Garfield's and opened their presents to us. Later in the afternoon we just relaxed and then had Christmas dinner. It was a great day!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we walked to the park in the morning. It was so muggy outside and felt so weird for Christmas Eve! Later in the afternoon, we opened up ornaments and Christmas PJs like we do every year. Once it got dark, we went to pick up pizza from Papa Murphy's. We went right before closing, and their machines were already shut down so they gave us our meal for free!

Then we went to see the Christmas lights on Girvin road, which were amazing! Once we got home we cooked our pizza and had a pizza picnic while we watched Arthur Christmas. Once the kids were in bed, we wrapped presents and got things ready for the morning. We finally rolled into bed around 3:30 am.
