Hawaii- A day at the beach

I love going to the beach, and I have loved it ever since I was a little girl. I was really excited to take Gavin to the beach to see his reaction. We spent an afternoon at the famous Poipu Beach on Kauai. It was a beautiful beach and it was very crowded. Check out how gorgeous this beach is! These photos are straight from the camera, no editing!

When we first got to the beach, we got everything set up and Gavin and I stayed on the beach to play for a few minutes while everyone else went swimming.

Next, we decided to change Gavin into his swim diaper and his board shorts so he could test the water out.

A little scared of the water

Now is the part, where I as a mom, feel terrible. I was sitting with Gavin on the beach, when out of no where came a HUGE wave crashing right into Gavin. It covered him in water and sand ( see pictures below). He was pretty mad about it, but was happy again after a few minutes.

Then we decided a trip to the beach in Hawaii wouldn't be complete without a shaved ice.

Overall, it was a great day at the beach!
