We have a PRESCHOOLER!

Gavin's All About Me Poster
Gavin today on his first day of preschool!

how cute is Gavin's classroom door?!

breakfast before school this morning. Daddy made Dinosaur pancakes!

Below is a video of Gavin leaving preschool

And just like that, Gavin is in preschool! Today is his first official day. Last Thursday, Jayden was able to take the day off and go with us to Gavin's preschool orientation. We got to see his classroom and meet his teachers. After the orientation, we went to lunch at Barberito's (We let Gavin choose and he chose Mexican), and then we went to Old Navy to get him a few school clothes. It was a great day!

Today, Jayden left for work a little later so we could all go to drop off Gavin at preschool together. Gavin was SOOO Excited! We dropped him off and he didn't even look back. I picked him up and he started to cry! He was so sad to leave preschool because he loved it so much. He cried all the way home too. Even after I assured him that he would be going back on Wednesday. I think he is going to have the time of his life!

the Pumpkin Patch

A few weeks ago we stopped by this cute pumpkin patch for a few photos. I had promised Gavin we could go pick out a pumpkin. He would choose one and only make it a few steps before he would change his mind. He probably picked 10 different pumpkins before he found the perfect pumpkin. Lily loved carrying the little pumpkins around with her too.

Pumpkins, Football, and Halloween

This weekend Jayden and I decided to carve pumpkins, since we haven't had the chance to really get into the Halloween holiday this year. Jayden decided to carve in his pumpkin, our little guy from a pic of an ultrasound ( so sweet) and I decided on an owl. Jayden is a lot more detail oriented than I am haha. Saturday we used our MUSS tickets and went to the Utah-Oregon State game. It was the blackout game and it was fun to finally get a win at home. For Halloween this year, I saw a maternity shirt from pinterest (if you have pinterest, you have probably seen it before). Jayden and I decided to add to it, but making our baby a future UTE for the game. It turned out really cute (see pictures below). We entered it into our apartment complex's costume contest, and the office loved it, so we have our fingers crossed!

Fall Maternity Clothes

Now that the fall weather is finally here, I can start wearing warmer clothes. I have been so hot for the last few months, that the cool weather feels amazing. Fall maternity clothes are way better to dress my growing bump in. I feel that fall maternity clothes are a lot more flattering and you can be more stylish. I am particularly liking my outfit that I have on today. I bought this fall coat on sale at the beginning of my pregnancy, I am so happy I finally get to wear it!

Today

Today was a fantastic day. I loved everything about today.

I felt really good today, a lot of energy and feeling good about my pregnancy body.

I received a promotion at work and a nice big raise

I got everything accomplished that I needed to

I enjoyed the cool weather and got to wear my polka dot rain boots

The cold weather makes the end of pregnancy seem near

I made chili for dinner, which was such a delicious fall meal

My rainboots :) I can barely see them underneath my belly. This is what I look down and see now.

Sunday Fall Drive

Yesterday we headed up the canyon for a Sunday afternoon drive. We found this little canyon that was beautiful and had so many fall colors. We got out for a little walk and enjoyed the fall weather and colors.

A picture Jayden took while I was taking pictures

My love!

Don't mind the makeup-less picture of me, but Jayden looks so handsome!

Fall Wishlist + 26 week update

Now that fall is in the air, I am loving the fall style this year. Some things on my fall wish list are:

A Mustard Cardigan ( must find one!)
Tan knee-high boots
Leggings
A cute scarf
Long tunics

Basically these outfits:

This week I am 26 weeks pregnant. I have felt pretty good this week, my energy has declined slightly though. This is my last week in my second trimester, so third trimester here we come! Wahoo! Here is what babycenter.com says about our baby this week:

"The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days."
