This post is long overdue, but I thought I would share what's new with Gavin at 15 months. He is now more like 15 months and 2 weeks. Poor Gavin has been teething SO hard for the last month now. He is getting his big molars in. They keep on breaking through the skin and then going back down. I now think they are through to stay (fingers crossed). He has been grumpy because of it, and not to mention drooling constantly. Gavin understands so much. If you ask him a question or ask him to do something, he responds by going and doing what ever you ask him. I will ask him to go to his room and get a book and he will bring one back to me. If you ask him to go to his highchair, he will go to it and wait for you to put him in. Those are just a few examples. Gavin is still very social and doesn't look twice to see where we are when at the park or playing somewhere. He loves being around other little kids and waves and says hi to every one in the store. He loves to blow kisses to everyone too.
Gavin has a huge vocabulary! He probably knows almost 50 words that he can say. Some new ones this month are: snack, cookie, tractor, mouth, belly button, car, nose, eye, more, basketball, and show. He has tried to say his name a few times too. Although when you ask him, "What is your name?", he gets all excited and answers back, "Name?!" haha so we are still working on that one.
At Gavin's 15 month appointment he weighed 25.5 lbs (64%) and he is 33.07 inches tall (94%). He is mostly wearing 18 month and 2T clothes. We also just switched him up to size 5 diapers.
One other cute thing is when you ask Gavin, "How old are you?", he holds up his finger and says "one!"
