Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. On Saturday, we took Gavin to a park that was having an Easter Egg Hunt. Gavin got to meet the Easter Bunny and a Giant Puppy. He liked the Easter Bunny, but LOVED the puppy. He ran right up to it and give him a big hug. He wouldn't stop giving the puppy kisses or leave him alone. He was sad when we told Gavin that he had to let the other kids have a turn seeing the puppy. For the Egg Hunt, they had a 0-2 age group, so it was perfect for Gavin. Later that day we colored Easter eggs. That night we also went to the Jazz game with my mom and dad, it was a lot of fun!

Sunday was very busy. We woke up at 7 so we could drive down to Alpine for one of my best friend Melissa's homecoming at 9. We stayed for Sacrament meeting and then went back to my parents house for a few minutes so they could give Gavin his Easter basket from them. Then we left and drove up to North Ogden to have Easter dinner with Garfield's. It was a great dinner. We then gave Gavin his Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. ( We decided to give it to him later in the day, because we woke up so early). We then set up a little egg hunt in the backyard for Gavin. He was more interested in picking up the suckers and not letting them go. He did get a few eggs, but didn't want to keep them in the basket. Overall it was a great weekend!
