Last week, Gavin and I went on a little trip to Las Vegas with my mom and dad. Jayden had to work and go to school, so he stayed behind. My dad had a conference in Vegas and my Mom wanted us to come so she would have someone to hang out with during the day. The trip was a lot of fun, even though we missed Jayden tons!!! The weather was really nice and it was nice to have a change of scenery. Here are some of the things that we did:
The first day that we were walking along the strip, Gavin saw this Elmo, and the guy insisted that Gavin get a photo with him. Ummm...creepiest Elmo I have ever seen! Haha.
That same afternoon we ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. We also went to the M&M factory. Gavin saw the stuffed M&M's and LOVED them. SO I bought him a red one. He started crying when I handed it to the cashier, because he thought I was taking it away.

We stayed at the Aria hotel. Gavin loved the view from the window. He would stare out of it for hours if he could
Every time we go to Vegas we go to the Bellagio to see the conservatory. They have the prettiest flowers.
not too sure what this face was for but he was looking at the butterflies |
Two of the afternoons we went swimming. The pools were so nice and warm. It has been a while since Gavin has been swimming but he warmed up to it pretty fast.
We went to the Neon Museum of Las Vegas. It was really fascinating. It is also called the neon boneyard. This is where all of the retired neon signs go to be put on display.
Here are some photos from my phone:
We went to our favorite restaurant at the Paris hotel called Mon Ami Gabi. This was Gavin's fancy kids meal he got

Looks like so much fun! I love trips with families. Poor Jayden, he had to stay home. I always feel guilty when I leave Mitch at home for the same reasons!
