Jayden posts too.

Hey everyone. I guess this is half my blog as well. So this is my post. :)

Halloween

Pumpkin Bowling

funny picture of Jayden when he got the apple to stick (He was really excited as you can tell)

Cute grandma and grandpa Garfield
This Halloween I decided to make our costumes, since we don't have a lot of extra cash to spend. We decided to be Fred and Wilma flinstone. I didn't know how hard it was to make costumes without patterns, so I just winged it and they turned out pretty good! On friday night we went to Jaydens Grandma and Grandpas house for a Garfield Halloween party. It was a lot of fun to see family again and not to mention all dressed up! We played some fun games (courtesy of Jodi and Ryan). The games included pumpkin bowling, and a fun game where you tied an apple around your waist and had to impale it on a nail on a board ( look at picture).

a weekend to remember!

At Nightmare on 13th
Freezing at the Football game!
Last weekend was one of the best weekends I can remember. I love weekends, because I get to spend more time with Jayden. On friday night we went to Nightmare on 13th and watched a Halloween movie. On saturday we went to a friends wedding luncheon. Also on Saturday we went to cheer on our UTES in the freezing rain, but shared a pizza afterward. On sunday we had a regional conference that ended at 12:00, our regular ward doesn't end until 3:30 so it was great having the whole afternoon to spend together. We also carved pumpkins, which was a lot of fun. Last week also is special because it is  the 1 year mark for Jayden and I. We met mid-october and started dating around Halloween so it is a special holiday for us!

I learned to love fall this year, but i'm still not a big fan of winter. This week felt like winter, I can't believe it snowed this early! The day before it snowed I took these pictures :

Fall!

I haven't been a big fan of the fall in the past, but this year I am loving the season. I never realized how beautiful it is, and how welcoming the cool weather has been. This fall we have done a lot of fun things, especially spending a lot of time with family. Over Labor Day, we went to Manti with the Garfields to go four wheeling. It was so much fun! Jayden and I set up our new tent for the first time. Thanks to the Garfields season tickets to REAL we have gone to a couple of games as well. Real games are awesome. Last week was fall break and we loved being able to spend more time together. We went to the zoo, saw the social network, and had a date where we decorated Halloween sugar cookies ( We are both little kids at heart) :) I also read quite a bit over fall break. I started and finished It is a very moving book and a great page turner!
