We were SO sick last week. It was the worst. I am so grateful for our health after going through the experience we went through last week. Jayden, Gavin, and I caught some stomach bug. We think it might have been from some questionable food we ate. But man were we sick. Poor Gavin got it the worst. He had the runs for about 6 days. I felt so bad for him. Gavin and I both threw up. Jayden didn't throw up, but he had to stay home from work one day. I got lucky and only had it for about 15 hours and then it was gone. But I was so miserable and had the worst stomach pains and I HATE throwing up! By the end of the week I was going crazy because I hadn't left the house all week. We brought the guest room mattress out in the family room so we could lay on it during the day in front of the tv. Jayden and I slept on it a few nights too, to be closer to Gavin and Lilys room to get up with Gavin during the night. Gavin called the mattress in the family room the "office bed". We have no clue where he got that from! Thank goodness we are better now!

We had a fabulous Easter weekend. It was a lot of fun but also really tiring! On Saturday we took Gavin to an Easter egg hunt that Jacksonville Beach was hosting at the sunshine park. They split it up into age groups. Gavin was in the 1-2 year old group so he came away with a pretty good haul.
Gavin and Lily in their best for church
Lily's Easter dress
Gavin wouldn't let me get a good picture of him all day. He looks so mischievous in this one...haha
Lily took a good nap in church. Church was very busy because I had to play the piano for the primary children's musical number in sacrament, Jayden had to give a talk in sacrament meeting, Jayden had to teach Sunday school, and I had to play piano for primary both hours. Lily just slept for most of primary by me. By the end of the church block, we were really tired!
In primary I can see the nursery kids out the window when they go on their walk. I always try to get a photo without Gavin seeing me but I never can get one. They hold onto a rope and I always hear the nursery leaders say, "Gavin, get back here and hold the rope!" haha. He is their flight risk nursery child, or so they tell me.
The Easter bunny came and was pretty good to Gavin and Lily. Lily's main thing was this Minnie Mouse crawl along toy. She crawls and sings. Lily already loves her!
This is Gavin's Easter basket. He got a Jake and the Neverland Pirate Sword, underwear, swim goggles, a net with fish for the pool, new shorts, and candy.
Lily got her Minnie Mouse, a new outfit, a shirt, practice sippy cups, and baby mum mum crackers.
We decided to have an Easter dinner and invite a few friends over. We had Jamie and Leslie and their daughter Elle, and our friend Rachel over. We decided to break out the china for the evening too. We had spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs, salad, orange rolls, and martinellis.
How cute do Gavin and Elle look sitting at their own table?!
For dessert we had a lemon berry trifle
Jayden, Jamie, Leslie, and Rachel
It was a great Easter!

Life was crazy back when Lily was born, then we went to Utah for 3 weeks during the Holidays, then we got back into life in Florida and I was thinking the other day how I never made a birth announcement for Lily! We sent out Christmas cards so I guess that mentioned her birth. Haha. I wanted to make an announcement to at least have in her baby book and her put in her room. I made this announcement today in photoshop and I'm really happy with how it came out!

Lily will be five months is 2 days and I can't believe how fast she is growing up! This last week has been a huge week for Lily. Lily is getting really good at rolling over. She used to hate being on her belly but now she rolls to her belly any chance she gets! We put her down for bed on her back and wake up to her on her stomach. She can turn herself lots of directions and she is trying to crawl! She also is sitting up pretty well and can stay sitting up by herself for a pretty long time. We haven't really started solids yet, but she tried a few bites of avocado a few nights ago and she didn't like it at all!

Last weekend, our friends the Hafens drove down from South Carolina to come visit us. We didn't have a lot of time so we packed a ton in!
Saturday morning we went to the arts market downtown. Not sure why we look like ghosts in this picture, but this is the best one we got!
After the arts market, we headed to the beach for the afternoon....
|Gavin's first time flying a kite!|
|Cute bum crack|
Then we came back home to shower and get ready. We then went to Cheesecake Factory at Town Center. After dinner, the boys headed off to the Priesthood session of general conference while Randee and I took Gavin and Lily shopping.
I hit up the clearance rack at Baby Gap and found these shorts and bathing suit for $10 each!
On Sunday we took it easy and watched conference and walked the pier in-between sessions.
Then we bbq'ed shish kabobs and pineapple before Trevin and Randee hit the road again for South Carolina. Thanks for visiting us guys!
