First Week of School

School is starting this week. I am excited for a routine, new classes, to learn, to know what I am doing each day. What I am not excited for is the absence of Jayden in my day. Our schedules are pretty opposite. We won't be able to eat dinner with each other Monday-Thursday. Most nights I don't see him until 10 at night. Which means....

I am going to LOVE weekends.

Even more than before.

Today, Somehow on the second day of school, Jayden and I both didn't wake up until 10:45. I guess we were both tired. It was so nice to sleep in together and have a relaxing morning. I don't have class until 12:25 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sometimes you just need those days, even if it is only the second day of school.

Fun Adventures

We have been spoiled rotten this summer by fun adventures. It all started out at the beginning of the summer when I went to Uganda for three weeks. That was a huge adventure! Unfortunately it was by myself. I loved Uganda but I would have loved it more with Jayden. For our honeymoon we went to Hawaii which I already posted about. Soon after we got back from our honeymoon we had the opportunity to go to Lake Powell with my family. I love Lake Powell and love boating. Lake Powell has always been fun in the past, but it was the best this year because Jayden was able to come with us. Then the week after Lake Powell, we were able to spend to weekend up at Bear Lake with Jaydens friends. We stayed at one of his friends cabins. It was so much fun to hang out with other married couples. It had never been to Bear Lake before so this was quite a treat for me and it was beautiful.

Honeymooning in Hawaii

For our Honeymoon we spent a week 0n the beautiful big island of Hawaii. Thanks to Jayden's grandparents, we had a condo right on the beach. We were very spoiled to wake up to the sound of the ocean each morning. We loved driving around the island in our Ford Mustang convertible that Hertz upgraded us to. During the week we went snorkeling, to a couple different of beaches, the volcano park, but most of all enjoyed being with each other and finally being married!

Garfield Family: Established July 22, 2010

Jayden and I were married for eternity in the Draper, Utah temple on July 22, 2010. It was such a beautiful day. I had to wake up at 4:30 to get my hair and makeup done so we could leave my house a little after 7 am. We were married at 9 am with all of our family and friends there supporting us. After the temple we had a luncheon at the Northampton House in American Fork. Then we had a couple of hours until the reception started to relax which was nice, because everyone was exhausted. The reception was in my backyard in Alpine that night. It turned out to be so beautiful ( thanks to Millie Garret). We ended up not having a line, due to a migraine that Jayden got right before our reception started. It turned out to be so relaxed and we could enjoy the reception just wandering around talking to people as we wanted. The next night we had a reception in the Garfield's backyard. It was really the best day of my life and I am so glad I am finally married to my best friend!
